Randy and I have not been up to much lately. Randy got a new job and is in his 3rd week now. He also started spin class a couple weeks ago. We did some riding at the new trails near our house last week. We finished at dark (which is now pretty early!), which was pretty cool! I doubt there will be many more opportunities for me to ride this winter. I did some birding and hiking at Martha Lafite last weekend, looking to spruce up my winter bird list. I got after 1/2 the species I sought, so I have more work to do! Next I need to make it out to Smithville Lake to get some ducks and winter rarities (loons, grebes, gulls, etc.).
For those looking for a little light reading, my first manuscript from my thesis is now published, so to hoot my own hoot a little, I have added a link to my webpage at work (under Jenn's research). It includes links to my papers (which will be updated as the others get published!).
