So the official reason for our trip was to survey the Colima Warblers that only reside in Big Bend within the United Sates. This was an opportunity for me to see a bunch of wildlife, mainly birds that I had not seen before, here is the trip list, we had 101 birds, 33 of which were lifers for me an incredible 33% of all species was new... awesome:
